Goodbye 2018. Hello 2019!

It’s been an extremely productive year for us at PA Business Support, moving from one exciting development to the next.

We’ve continued to expand and grow our partnerships in the UK and now abroad from our recently-opened Singapore office. We’ve brought on-board some new people and even introduced a training programme for developing new talent, which is great news for all you budding VAs out there! And to top it all off we’ve partnered with chic London members club, Eight, to hobnob and network with some of London’s sharpest innovators and entrepreneurs. Here’s our roundup of all that’s been going on:

PABS Singapore launch

Our biggest news by far has been the opening of PABS Singapore back in September. Famous for its quality of life, this laid back and sophisticated cultural hub attracts all sorts of talented, business-minded people looking to advance their careers. We’ve already put together a team of highly skilled executive assistants, all with extensive experience of living and working in the region. They will be providing bespoke and specialised VA services to a wide range of businesses. Just as compelling, having offices in the UK and Singapore means we are now able to provide overnight document writing and transcription services to clients in either time-zone. More to come.

New people, new talent

Heading up our Singapore operation is Jacqueline Renz. She’s a veteran in senior management consultation, analysis and development. Her CV includes being the first training representative in Asia for Credit Suisse. Meanwhile back in the UK, our new head of permanent recruitment, Nicola Swinbank, is focusing on building and strengthening both new and existing partnerships across PABS’s client roster. Nicola comes from an extensive background of HR recruitment and personnel so has been able to hit the ground running. We’re extremely proud to have both ladies on the team.

Dedicated VA training programme

In addition to recruiting the best executive level support in the market, here at PABS we’re also committed to developing talent. Our new training programme is a result of the many enthusiastic enquiries we receive from people who want to become VAs. This has led us to secure a partnership with an excellent business coach, whose job will be to fast-track suitable candidates to the high levels of expertise and professionalism our clients expect. If you’re a VA and would like to know more, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

Eight Members Club

This exclusive duo of members clubs in Bank and Moorgate can now be called our new ‘home away from home’. Both classically stylish, the two venues are amazing places to work, hold meetings and of course, socialise. More importantly, this collaboration will see us engaging with a highly successful community of professionals and entrepreneurs, expanding the PABS network ever wider and leading the way for many new ventures.

Ongoing relationships

Among our biggest achievements this year we also count our continued relationships with some of our oldest clients, many of whom have been with us since day one. And as we continue to grow and work with more businesses both here and abroad, we place just as much pride in retaining our long term clients as our new ones.
So here’s looking forward to 2019, a very Happy New Year and all it my bring, both for us, our clients and everybody who continues to work with and support us here at PABS!
