ward-winning entrepreneur Sophie Burnett began her virtual business journey in April 2010 as a sole-trader managing PA Business Support. Since then her background in Recruitment, Executive Office and Administration has helped to pave the way to grow a team of talented Virtual PAs and also to merge with her now business partner Sabina Hinchliffe. Together, in January 2015, they formed PA Business Support Ltd.

Throughout her career personal growth as a young businesswoman has always been a focus for Sophie and in October 2013 this was further realised when she was chosen to become a non-executive board director for STANTA (St Albans Enterprise Agency). Her dedication and drive was rewarded less than a year later when in June 2014 she was named Hertfordshire’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Federation of Small Business Awards.

Sophie firmly believes that ensuring that a Virtual Assistant has the appropriate talent for the client’s needs is just one part of the equation. She says “It is a well-known fact that people do business with people they know, like and trust and this is something about which we, at PA Business Support Ltd, are passionate. We truly believe that working with people you engage and connect with provides the best opportunity to deliver great results.”

When not working hard building the business Sophie enjoys playing netball and chairing Harpenden Netball Club, skiing and cooking.
