Celebrating one year as a united force

The strike of the New Year not only kicks off a new start for 2016, but brings extra celebration for us here at PA Business Support as it officially marks one year as a joint enterprise – Happy Birthday to us! Those of you who have followed our journey more closely will know directors Sabina and Sophie joined their independently successful and well established resources together at the beginning of 2015 – a big step which triggered an exciting year peppered with big business, team growth and glittering recognition for the PA Business Support team.1st-Anniversary-e1384528912226
Top of the agenda for this year has been to combine our experience and skills to build a ‘new’ business in PA Business Support Ltd.  This spans developing a pipeline of potential business, securing new clients, building our team and re-establishing old relationships under our new look and structure. We are now in a better position than ever before to deliver a wider range of services to our clients and head into the New Year with great gusto with our business plan for 2016.
Today, the PA Business Support roll call stands at over 20 VA’s working for us nationwide – ranging from the rich experience of high level VA’s and EA’s to those with specialist flairs and niches to adapt to a range of bespoke requirements. Within in our team we can pull on the capabilities of our experienced VA and EA’s, graphic designers, copy writers, bilingual speakers and management accountants to service our clients needs. In addition to bolstering our in house team, we are thrilled to have not only gained new business, but keep it. August this year saw one of our oldest clients pass the five-year mark – a great testament to our values and belief in long standing relationships. A sincere and genuine thank you to all of our clients old and new who have helped us grow and supported us during our journey so far.
You may have also spotted a spruce up of our website which launched in September this year. A refresh and rebranding kicked off our new online presence – following our new venture in January we wanted our website to fully reflect who we are today as a business. In addition to providing a welcome resource of services, our team and a regular blog – the website is a fantastic presentation of how the business stands today and our story to date. Keep posted for all our latest news updates here as we move into 2016.
It’s one thing us brimming with enthusiasm about what we do – but it’s quite another to get recognised for your passion by industry peers. In 2015 PABS were recognised as finalists for ‘Best New Business’ in the East of England Business Awards and the ‘Micro Business’ category at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards – a great achievement for our team to be recognised  alongside some key names in our region locally and also nationally under the entrepreneurship umbrella. Despite being pipped to the post for the big wins, we are thrilled the hard work of the team is being recognised amongst wider circles and look to boost the trophy cabinet collection moving in to next year – watch this space!
